Hi! I’m Akiya Maston—a K-8 Principal, award-winning author, and Middle School Girls Development Specialist with over 20 years of experience in the heart of education. My mission with GPS is simple yet transformative: to help girls ages 10–14 reclaim their uniqueness and lead with unshakable confidence. Having navigated thousands of student and family interactions, I founded GPS as a scalable movement that bridges the gap between home and school. By partnering with parents and guardians, schools, and organizations, I’m dedicated to providing every girl with the guidance system she needs to own her brilliance and navigate the world with purpose.
