Welcome to Girls Pursuing Success (GPS), where confidence meets calling! Between fifth and eighth grade, girls navigate some of their most challenging shifts. Too often, this is where self-criticism takes root and confidence fades. At GPS, we provide the guidance, support, and community they need to know they are always enough. This digital empowerment community, cultivates deep self-worth, sharpens leadership skills, and builds the resilience girls ages 10–14 need to thrive.

Hi! I’m Akiya Maston, Ed.S.—a K-8 school principal, award-winning author, and Adolescent Development Specialist with over 22 years on the front lines of education.

After guiding thousands of students and families through the ups and downs of adolescence, I founded Girls Pursuing Success (GPS) to bridge the gap between home and school.
