Hi! I’m Akiya Maston—a K-8 Principal, award-winning author, and Middle School Development Specialist with over 20 years of experience at the heart of education. My mission with GPS is simple yet transformative: to help girls ages 10–14 reclaim their uniqueness and lead with unshakable confidence. Having navigated thousands of student and family interactions, I founded GPS as a scalable movement to bridge the gap between home and school. I’m honored to be charting this path to success alongside our middle school girls with either our GPS Mentoring Series and our Digital Empowerment Series.
